The fifth edition of the “From Australia to Cuba with Love” campaign is progressing with remarkable momentum in Australia, establishing itself as one of the most visible and sustained expressions of solidarity with Cuba in the region. Since its launch in June, the initiative has mobilized dozens of participants across the country, who have carried out sporting, cultural, and community activities to support the Cuban people and contribute to a social project for a children's home in Guantánamo province.
Cuba rejects, in the strongest terms, the report published on July 20 by the United States Department of State, concerning Cuba's alleged subversive influence against the United States. It is a mediocre propaganda pamphlet. It seeks to bolster the mendacious message that Cuba constitutes a threat to the United States, a pretext that the U.S. government uses for collective punishment and genocide against the Cuban people. It aims, through the construction of accusatory narratives, to fabricate support for a potential military aggression.
