Cuba Reaffirms its Commitment Against Racism and Racial Discrimination at the United Nations

On Monday, the IV session of the Permanent Forum on People of African Descent began at the United Nations headquarters in New York, with the participation of representatives of the Cuban civil society and a government delegation.

During the general debate of the Forum, the Ambassador, Permanent Representative of Cuba to the United Nations, Ernesto Soberón Guzmán, reiterated our country's firm commitment to the fight against racism, racial discrimination, xenophobia and all related forms of intolerance.

This Tuesday, the general exchange of views among States continued at the annual session of the Disarmament Commission at United Nations Headquarters in New York, which began on April 7.
