Press Release: Crucial time for the Non-Aligned Movement in the face of the aggressive behavior and unilateralism of the current US government.

New York, September 21, 2017. The aggressive behavior and unilateralism, especially of the United States government, pose dangers and inevitable dilemmas not only for the Non-Aligned nations, but for humanity, said Bruno Rodríguez Parrilla, Minister of Foreign Affairs of Cuba, at the Ministerial Meeting of the Non-Aligned Movement (NAM) Coordinating Bureau, held in the framework of the 72nd session of the UN General Assembly, this September 20.

Press Release: Cuba signed Treaty on the Prohibition of Nuclear Weapons.

New York, September 20, 2017. Bruno Rodríguez Parrilla, Minister of Foreign Affairs of Cuba, signed the Treaty on the Prohibition of Nuclear Weapons in the framework of the opening ceremony for the signing of the Treaty, which was held today at the headquarters of the United Nations.

Like Cuba, more than 40 countries signed the Treaty, which is a fundamental step forward towards nuclear disarmament and will contribute significantly to a world free of nuclear weapons.
