Guyana, Georgertown, November 7, 2023. The Guyana Chronicle newspaper published an interview given by the Cuban Ambassador to Guyana, Jorge Francisco Soberón Luis, who highlighted the results of the United Nations General Assembly vote to support the Resolution that demands the lifting of the Blockade on the island and ratified Cuba's denunciation of this cruel and inhuman policy.

Guyana, Georgertown, November 3, 2023. Solidarity organizations in Guyana conveyed congratulatory messages to the Cuban people on the victory at the UN. Halim Khan, president of the Guyana-Cuba Solidarity Movement, and Gerald Perreira, president of the Organization for the Victory of the People, expressed their satisfaction at the support of the international community in the vote on the Resolution demanding the lifting of the immoral policy of the Blockade.
