Initiatives continue from Liberia during "Africa Day" journey.

Monrovia, May 17, 2020 - Within the activities carried out by the Cuban Diplomatic Mission in Liberia, in the framework of the "¨Africa Day"  journey, we opened the section "Get to know Liberia". Through this section we intend to make available to everyone information about this country in West Africa, unknown to many people. We hope you enjoy this initiative which will allow us to expand our cultural heritage.

Liberia-Cuba Friendship Group condemns the inclusion of Cuba on the list of countries that do not cooperate against terrorism and denounces the application of Title III of the Helms-Burton Act.

Monrovia, May 16, 2020 - The Libera-Cuba Friendship Organization condemns the inclusion of Cuba on the list of countries that do not collaborate against terrorism.

At the same time, they denounce once again the terrorist act committed last April 30th against the Cuban Embassy in Washington DC. They point out that the United States remains silent and that terrorist acts cannot go unpunished.

Cuban President sent message of condolences to Liberian counterpart for human losses due to landslide.

Monrovia, May 15, 2020 - The President of the Republic of Cuba Miguel Díaz-Canel Bermúdez sent a message of condolence to the President of the Republic of Liberia, His Excellency George Manneh Weah, on the occasion of the human losses caused by the landslide in a region of the West African country.

The message from the Cuban President to his Liberian counterpart extends condolences also to the families of the victims.

Cuban Embassy in Liberia starts activities for "Africa Day".

Monrovia, May 13, 2020 - On the occasion of "Africa Day", the Cuban Embassy in Liberia commemorates the work carried out by members of the International Contingent of Doctors Specialized in Confronting Disasters and Serious Epidemics "Henry Reeve".

With their selfless work, these professionals have earned the recognition, love and respect of millions of human beings on the planet.
