Cuba present at the 26th World Road Congress in the United Arab Emirates

The 26th World Road Congress, held in Abu Dhabi, from October 6 to 10, 2019, was opened by Dr. Abdullah Belhaif Al Nuaimi, Minister of Infrastructure Development and Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Federal Transportation Authority - Terrestrial and Maritime, as well as by Mr. Claude Van Rooten, President of the World Road Association (PIARC), who in his respective opening speeches offered a warm welcome to the more 1,200 expert participants and leaders in the transport sector of the 121 member countries.

Cuba present at the GRULAC meeting with HEDAYAH in Abu Dhabi

Dr. Ali Rashid Al Nuaimi and Mr. Maqsoud Kruse, President and Executive Director of HEDAYAH, respectively, received at the headquarters of that institution the GRULAC Ambassadors to whom they offered an explanation of the creation of that entity in Abu Dhabi , in December 2012, in response to the growing desire of the members of the Global Forum against terrorism and the international community for the establishment of an independent multilateral center.

Cuban Ambassador to the United Arab Emirates signs book of condolences for the death of the President of the Tunisian Republic

Ambassador Jorge León Cruz, Charge d'Affaires a.i. before the United Arab Emirates, he signed the condolences book opened at the Tunisian Embassy in Abu Dhabi for the death of the President of the Tunisian Republic S.E. Mr. Beji Caid Essebi.

The Cuban diplomat expressed deep condolences to the government, family and Tunisian people for the irreparable loss and said that, honoring the president's memory, the State Council of the Republic of Cuba decreed Official Duel on July 29, 2019 and the Cuban flag It will be hoisted at half-mast.
