Celac: Argentine President condemned U.S. blockade of Cuba

Argentine President Alberto Fernández today condemned the economic, commercial and financial blockade of Cuba by the United States, while speaking at the 7th Summit of the Community of Latin American and Caribbean States (Celac).

As pro tempore head of Celac, I demanded respect for the rights of all nations and the end of the blockades that the countries of the region suffer, said the president.

Blockades are perverse methods against peoples. Cuba has been suffering one for more than six decades and this is unforgivable, he said.

Cuban Foreign Minister leads delegation for Cuba's inauguration as Chairman of the Group of 77 and China

New York, January 11, 2022 - Cuban Foreign Minister Bruno Rodríguez Parrilla arrived in New York on Wednesday to participate in the inauguration of the Cuban presidency of the Group of 77 and China.

This is the first time that the island will chair this group of dialogue and coordination, which is a great honor and a great responsibility for Cuba.

Cuban diplomacy reaffirms commitment to Revolution

Havana, December 23, 2022.- Foreign Minister Bruno Rodriguez said on Friday that Cuban diplomacy maintains its commitment to defend the Revolution.

On Twitter, Rodriguez celebrated the 63rd anniversary of the ministry (MINREX) that he heads with a congratulatory message. Warmest congratulations to MINREX workers and those who have taken part in our battles for 63 years.

He added that revolutionary diplomacy reaffirms its commitment to serving the homeland and the heroic Cuban people faithfully and defending its Revolution.

Minister of Education of the Commonwealth of The Bahamas receives the Cuban ambassador and a delegation from the Cuban Ministry of Education.

Nassau, December 15, 2022. Ambassador Julio César González Marchante and the Liaison Officer of the Educational Brigade, José Reinel García Sánchez, together with a MINED delegation that is visiting The Bahamas, were received by the Minister of Education the Honorable Glenys Hanna-Martin and other representatives of the sector.
