Taking advantage of the common interest to advance in bilateral relations and the facilities of technology, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of The Bahamas and the ambassador of Cuba in that Caribbean country held a virtual working meeting with the goal of reviewing and promoting bilateral issues.
Nassau, January 15th, 2021. The Bahamian expert on Economy Kevin Alcena, a close friend of Cuba in this archipelago, described as absurd the recent designation of our country as a state sponsor of terrorism by Secretary of State Michael Pompeo. In an article published on the social network Medium, the academic stated that "there is no way to substantiate this statement nor is there any justification for it," adding that by making an "exhaustive examination of all the readily available factual information, there is no a legitimate mandate that coincides with this statement against Cuba”.
