International Mother`s Day Celebration

Cuban mothers, Barbadians, Venezuelan, Brazilian and Colombian appointment at the headquarters of the Embassy of Cuba were given for the collective tribute to parents, spouses, children and friends, that special date. To enjoy good music performed live, delivering flowers symbolizing all its beauty and integrity; between songs, poems, dances, local food and anecdotes, which were interspersed with calls of congratulations from several points, he spent a joyful day of relaxation and fraternization that was enjoyed by all until arrival the night.

Minister of Health recognizes Cuban regional cooperation.

Durante la inauguración de la reunión anual del Programa Dental del Caribe, auspiciado por su Presidente, Dr. Victor Eastmond, el Ministro de Salud de Barbados, Hon. Cuban Residents in Barbados welcome Cuba's attendance to the VII Summit of the Americas.

The Association of Cuban Residents in Barbados adopted a statement of support for Cuba, celebrating his first participation in the VII Summit of the Americas on 10 and 11 April 2015 in Panama. It is recognized that with this invitation to a delegation from the Revolutionary Government of Cuba, headed by Army General Raul Castro Ruz, President of the Councils of State and Ministers, is accomplished to be represented at the meeting all the countries of Latin America and Caribbean in terms of sovereign equality.

Barbadian Senate President meets Cuban Ambassador.

The President of the Senate, Honourable Senator Kerryann Ifill received in the parliament the Cuban ambassador, Francisco Fernández Peña, welcoming him to Barbados while expressing his sincere wish that the historical relations existing between the two countries continue reaching higher stages.
