Secretary for Relations with the Vatican States in Cuba

Havana, 3 June 2025._ The Secretary for Relations with States and International Organizations of the Holy See, Paul Richard, arrived in Cuba for an official visit, within the framework of the anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations.

Upon his arrival at Havana's José Martí International Airport, he was received by the Deputy Prime Minister of Foreign Affairs, Elio Rodríguez, the head of the Office of Religious Affairs of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of Cuba, Caridad Diego Bello, and the Apostolic Nuncio Antoine Camilleri.

Cuba Reaffirms Its Commitment to the Sustainable Development of the Coffee Sector

London, 4 June. In an official ceremony held at the headquarters of the International Coffee Organization (ICO), the Cuban Ambassador to the United Kingdom, Ismara Vargas Walter, formally deposited the instrument of ratification for the 2022 International Coffee Agreement.

This act reaffirms Cuba’s commitment to the sustainable and equitable development of the global coffee sector.

As part of the Technical Cooperation Program (MTCP) Courses, offered jointly by the Malaysian Ministry of Foreign Affairs with the Institute of Diplomacy and Foreign Affairs, the young Cuban diplomat Nathaly Osorio Ricardo participated in the Diplomatic Training Course that concluded today in this capital.
