Addis Ababa, December 7, 2025.- The love for Cuba remains alive on Ethiopian soil, appearing in the stories of those who were trained on the Island, in the gratitude that travels from one continent to another, and in the way two peoples recognize each other through solidarity.
The Nazım Hikmet Culture and Arts Center of the Şişli Municipality hosted the event “Fidel’s Legacy, the Future of the Revolution”, which brought together a wide audience of friends of Cuba, institutional representatives, and solidarity organizations.
An exhibition opened at the Vietnamese Women’s Museum in Hanoi on December 5, spotlighting the faithful friendship shared by the Vietnamese and Cuban peoples. Addressing the event, Director of the museum Nguyen Thi Tuyet said the exhibition commemorates 65 years of Vietnam – Cuba diplomatic relations and highlights the museum's role as a cultural bridge promoting friendship, solidarity and revolutionary traditions. Through stories, photographs and long-preserved keepsakes, the exhibition recalls the profound bond between the two nations, she said.
Cuban Ambassador Rogelio Polanco Fuentes described the display as a tribute to the historic relationship cherished by generations of leaders and peoples of both countries.

Talking to a VNA reporter in Hanoi on December 4, Leganoa Alonso said that both national news agencies face similar challenges in training personnel and equipping them with modern skills needed to maintain their roles as the key multimedia news agencies of their respective countries while utilising digital tools, applying artificial intelligence, and developing proprietary platforms to ensure technology mastery.
