The potentialities and challenges of agriculture in Cuba were at the center of a wide-ranging exchange held on Thursday at the Cuban embassy's headquarters with a delegation of Dutch farmers.
Cairo, June 5, 2025. The chairman of the Egyptian Medicines Authority Dr. Ali El Ghamrawy received at the headquarters of the institution the Cuban Ambassador Alexander Pellicer Moraga.
During the fruitful meeting, they exchanged on Dr. Ghamrawy's recent visit to Cuba to participate in the Cuba-Health 2025 Convention, as well as on the possibilities of developing and strengthening cooperative relations in the areas of health and drug production.
Kingston, 4 June 2025. The Ambassador of Cuba to Jamaica, Fermín Quiñones Sánchez, participated in the official opening ceremony of the JACDEN Group Medical Centre, an institution focused on the care of cancer patients, dialysis treatments and other services, which is Staffed by 13 Cuban health specialists. León Cruz was received by Mr. Mohamed Choucair, President of the Lebanese Chamber of Commerce and Industry, who thanked the letter of invitation extended by the President of the Chamber of Commerce of Cuba, to participate in the 41st edition of the Havana International Fair, FIHAV 2025, to be held from 24 to 29 November at the EXPOCUBA fairgrounds.
From May 28 to June 3, the Consul General of Cuba in Toronto, Jorge Yanier Castellanos Orta, paid a working visit to British Columbia. During his stay in the province, the Cuban diplomat carried out an extensive program in the cities of Victoria and Vancouver, which included meetings with government and parliamentary authorities, solidarity groups, and Cuban residents in the territory, among others.
