Pretoria, 12 June 2026. — Ambassador Fakri Rodríguez Pinelo took part in the roundtable discussion “Strengthening Global South Solidarity for Justice, Peace and Self-Determination”, chaired by Deputy Minister Alvin Botes of the Department of International Relations and Cooperation (DIRCO) which took place in Richards Bay. Cuba reaffirms its firm commitment to the principles of international solidarity, peace and the self-determination of peoples.
Havana, June 11, 2026 – Historical, deep-rooted, and profoundly friendly ties unite the peoples of Cuba and the nations of Asia and Oceania. This was reaffirmed on Thursday during a meeting between Esteban Lazo Hernández, member of the Political Bureau of the Central Committee of the Communist Party, President of the National Assembly of People's Power and of the Council of State, and members of the diplomatic corps from this region accredited to Cuba.
