La 41 FIHAV, a strategic meeting point for business in the region

From November 24 to 29, 2025, the Expocuba Fairgrounds will reopen its doors to welcome business leaders, official delegations, chambers of commerce, trade and investment promotion agencies, and guests from around the world to celebrate the 41st edition of FIHAV.

The 40th edition was attended by 61 countries, in addition to the European Union and the Latin American and Caribbean Economic System (SELA), with 31 chamber delegations and 15 high-level official delegations. A total of 723 companies participated, of which 435 were foreign and 288 were domestic.

During her speech at the annual session of UNICEF's Executive Board, Dalia Marlen Torres Seara, oficial of the Permanent Mission of Cuba to the United Nations, reaffirmed Cuba's commitment to protecting and promoting children's rights despite the complex international context.

Promising exchange on sports cooperation between Cuba and Malaysia.

Kuala Lumpur, June 10, 2025. Cuban Ambassador Yadira Ledesma Hernández held a fruitful meeting with the Sports Advisor of the State of Sarawak, Mr. N. Chan.

The meeting recognized the international prestige of Cuban sports, its athletes and coaches, and the numerous Olympic and world medals won by athletes from the largest of the Antilles.

Both parties agreed on the potential for developing future cooperation projects in sports.

Famous Cuban Cigars Revered in Egypt

El Gouna, June 8, 2025. The famous Habanos were revered last night at an evening organized at the Casa Cook Hotel in El Gouna, one of Egypt's most important tourist centers.

Several of the best-known Cuban cigar brands were at the mercy of expert smokers who succumbed to the temptation of inhaling the smoke of dark tobacco leaves, turned into cigars by the skill of cigar rollers from the Greater Antilles.

Cuban Ambassador to Norway visits Nor-Shipping 2025

Oslo, June 9, 2025. The Ambassador of Cuba to Norway, Maité Rivero Torres, visited Nor-Shipping 2025, that took place from June 2 to 6, at Nova Spektrum, in Lillestrøm.

Nor-Shipping, that this year is celebrating its 60th anniversary, is one of the world's most important trade fair and meeting places for the shipping and maritime industries.

This year´s edition, which was opened with a ceremony in Oslo City Hall, in which the Ambassador also had the opportunity to participate, gathered around 60,000 visitors from nearly 100 countries. (Embassy of Cuba to Norway)
