Cuba participates in the 37th Annual Meeting of the Governing Council of the Common Fund for Commodities

The Hague, December 10, 2025. On December 9 and 10, the 37th Annual Meeting of the Governing Council of the Common Fund for Commodities was held in The Hague.

Cuba reiterated its commitment to the Fund's objectives and praised the work carried out by the Fund, as well as the progress made in implementing projects that contribute to the fulfillment of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) of the 2030 Agenda, in particular, the fight against climate change, the empowerment of women, and food sovereignty.

Cuba participates in workshop with CARICOM to strengthen resilience and data systems

The Secretariat of the Caribbean Community (CARICOM), the United Nations Economic Commission for Latin America and the Caribbean (ECLAC), and the United Nations Statistics Division and Sustainable Development Goals Division (UNDESA) are holding a regional workshop on the implementation of the Antigua and Barbuda Agenda for Small Island Developing States (SIDS) in the Caribbean, with the aim of strengthening resilience and data systems.
