State Mission and Cubans residing in Jamaica united in a labour of infinite love

Kingston, 12 June 2025. A dozen members of the Cuban State Mission in Jamaica and Cuban residents connected to the health sector took part in a blood donation drive as part of Blood Donor Week and in celebration of the 7th Regional Meeting of Cubans Residing in Latin America and the Caribbean.

The donations, coordinated by Cuban resident Arlenys Ramírez Alcover, will be delivered to the Alexander Bustamante Paediatric Hospital and will contribute to surgical operations at the institution's Cardio-centre in a project led by Chain of Hope.

Kuala Lumpur, June 12, 2025. The non-resident Cuban Ambassador to the Philippines, Yadira Ledesma Hernández, had the pleasure of participating in the reception held for the 127th anniversary of the country's independence.

Representatives of the diplomatic corps, local authorities, and members of the Filipino community in Malaysia gathered at the event, where they enjoyed artistic performances and culinary displays showcasing Filipino culture.

The occasion was an opportunity to demonstrate the interest in continuing to strengthen bilateral relations between the two nations.
