Presence of Cuban doctors at new medical centre in Kingston.

Kingston, 4 June 2025. The Ambassador of Cuba to Jamaica, Fermín Quiñones Sánchez, participated in the official opening ceremony of the JACDEN Group Medical Centre, an institution focused on the care of cancer patients, dialysis treatments and other services, which is Staffed by 13 Cuban health specialists. The event was attended by the Honourable Mark Golding, President of the People's National Party (PNP) and Leader of the Opposition, the Honourable Christopher Tufton, Minister of Health and Wellness, among other members of Parliament.

León Cruz was received by Mr. Mohamed Choucair, President of the Lebanese Chamber of Commerce and Industry, who thanked the letter of invitation extended by the President of the Chamber of Commerce of Cuba, to participate in the 41st edition of the Havana International Fair, FIHAV 2025, to be held from 24 to 29 November at the EXPOCUBA fairgrounds.

The Consul General of Cuba in Toronto paid a working visit to the province of British Columbia.

From May 28 to June 3, the Consul General of Cuba in Toronto, Jorge Yanier Castellanos Orta, paid a working visit to British Columbia. During his stay in the province, the Cuban diplomat carried out an extensive program in the cities of Victoria and Vancouver, which included meetings with government and parliamentary authorities, solidarity groups, and Cuban residents in the territory, among others.
