Both sides have agreed on the importance of strengthen the economic and commercial relations between both coutries.

On Friday, May 30, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs summoned the US Chargé d'Affaires to renew his attention regarding the meddling and unfriendly conduct he has displayed since arriving in Cuba, which is unbecoming of a diplomat and disrespectful to the Cuban people.
The Cuban Ambassador to Liberia, Dr. Indira López Argüelles, paid a courtesy visit to the Ministry of Commerce and Industry of the Republic of Liberia.
At the headquarters, she was received by the Minister, Honorable Magdalene Ellen Dagoseh, who reiterated her gratitude to the Cuban doctors who fought against Ebola and the offer of scholarships for young Liberians. She also expressed her hope for the strengthening of trade and South-South cooperation.
Kempton Park, 31 May 2025: To celebrate the 62nd anniversary of Africa Liberation Day, the Cuban Embassy in South Africa participated in the Fair organised by the African Diplomatic Corps, alongside the Nicaraguan and Venezuelan embassies. The stand shared by the three countries was characterised by folklore, history, music and Latin flavours.

Cuban health professionals, members of the Medical Brigade working in the Commonwealth of The Bahamas, held a Scientific Conference under the theme "When science unites hearts, borders disappear and the health of the people flourishes." Twelve research papers of interest related to the work of the cooperators in their daily practice were presented at the event, four of them in poster format.
