Cuban Ambassador in Denmark highlights the importance of defending the Proclamation of Latin America and the Caribbean as Zone of Peace

Roskilde's minifestival for peace, 2018

On the occasion of the tenth anniversary of the Mini-Festival for Peace held in the Danish city of Roskilde on September 1st, the Ambassador of Cuba in Denmark, Yiliam Gómez Sardiñas, highlighted the importance of defending the Proclamation of Latin America and the Caribbean as Zone of Peace, a document that constitutes a true historic milestone that enhances peace, which was signed during the II Summit of the Community of Latin American and Caribbean States (CELAC), in Havana in 2014.

"José Martí" the Ambassador of Cuba Raúl Delgado Concepción participated in the emotional and joyful ceremony for the beginning of the school year 2018-2019, this September 1st. Also present at the opening ceremony of the new school year were Mr. A. Amartuvshin, Vice Mayor, and Mr. B. Lkhagvabaatar, Director of the Planning Department of the Khan-Uul District, where the school is located.

Two Cuban dance teachers working successfully in Barbados

Hired by Praise Dance Academy, for the first time two Cuban teachers have been teaching girls and young Barbadians techniques in the modalities of classical ballet and contemporary dance. With a year of fruitful accumulated work, Laura Álvarez teaches classical ballet and has seen how her pupils progress, who in an international inter-school competition in which they recently participated in Havana were finalists. In the other hand, dancer Wendy Ferrer taught a short course in the modality of contemporary dance, during her stay in Barbados invited to participate in the Summer Camp organized by the Academy.
