Today with Dr. Somsak Leeswadtrakul, Chairman of Ggroup of Thailand, promoting the XXXVI edition of the Havana International Fair (FIHAV 2018) on Commerce in the framework of the 60th Anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between Thailand and Cuba.
The Havana International Fair (FIHAV) is the largest annual multi-sector trade fair in Cuba and a highly-representative gathering in Latin America and the Caribbean.
FIHAV 2018 will be taking place from October 29th to November 2nd, 2018, in the ExpoCuba fairground located on the outskirts of Havana.
Cuban citizens abroad will have the possibility to participate in the debate on the Project of the new Constitution. The foregoing was made known in statements to the press by Ernesto Soberón, Director of Consular Affairs and of Cuban Residents Abroad, of the Cuban Foreign Ministry, on August 3, 2018.-
The Ambassador of Cuba to Ghana, Mr. Pedro Luis Despaigne González, signed the condolence books opened by the government of Ghana and by the representation of the United Nations in Accra.
In both books, condolences were expressed on behalf of the Cuban people and government, both to the Ghanaian people, to the relatives of the prominent African diplomat, as well as to the staff of the world organization.
After the signing of both books, the Cuban ambassador was interviewed by the local press, as well as by the UN information system.
Cuba, August 27, 2018.- The popular consultation has begun, and streets, workplaces, schools, and even houses have become places to debate, legislate, and take charge of the times to come.
Still several months away is the proclamation of the country’s new Constitution, one of the world’s most modern, as specialists in the field have said, given the additions proposed by the commission charged with writing the first draft, which was subsequently approved by the National Assembly of People’s Power.
