During the weekend, Dr Aleida Guevara maintained an intense program of activities in Cyprus. In the morning of Saturday 1, at the Acropolis club in the city of Nicosia, a meeting was held with Cubans and Latin Americans residing in Cyprus, in which representatives of Cyprus, Spain and other countries were also present. After a tour of the installation, a lively exchange took place, answering several questions from the participants.
Excited by the news, determined to take advantage of this unique opportunity for self-improvement, and somewhat nostalgic for the separation of the family. So we could describe Edvida Davies and Francis Maweah Jr. the two young Liberians who in this academic year 2017-2018 will begin their medical studies in Cuba. With them there are 5 Liberians who are being trained in the Greater Antilles, all of them in the medical area.
