Cuba and Zimbabwe strengthen triangular cooperation in education.

Zimbabwe, June 2, 2017. The specialists of the Central Institute of Pedagogical Sciences of Cuba Dr. Alberto Diego Valle Lima and Dr. Pedro Luis Castro Alegret, arrived today in Harare, Zimbabwe with the objective of offering technical advice to the Ministry of Primary and Secondary Education for the creation of a Center for Research and Pedagogical Innovation, a project supported by UNICEF.

At the third and last session of the open-ended working group on the fourth special session of the General Assembly devoted to disarmament, the Deputy Permanent Representative of Cuba to the United Nations, Ambassador Ana Silvia Rodríguez Abascal, made reference to the active work of the Cuban nation, not only in its national capacity but also within the Non-Aligned Movement, to convene a fourth special session of the General Assembly devoted to disarmament.

Director General of the Thai International Cooperation Agency welcomes the Ambassador of Cuba

Thailand, June 5, 2017. The Director General of the Thai International Cooperation Agency, Suphatra Srimaitreephithak, received the Ambassador of Cuba to Thailand, Héctor Conde Almeida.

In the cordial meeting the good path of bilateral relations was confirmed, with special reference to the historical significance of the 60th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between the two countries to be celebrated in May 2018.
