Held at High School Trinidad and Tobago the "Day of Cuban Culture.

ort of Spain, October 21st . - With the presence of more than 200 high school students from center-east regions of the country, as wells as teachers of Spanish language of these institutions, it was held in the "Guaico" Government Secondary School, region Sangre Grande, the Day of Cuban Culture .The event, organized by the Embassy of Cuba, the Ministry of Education in Trinidad and Tobagoy and “Guaico” educational institution, had as its main objectives to take students for a brief journey to the Cuban culture through an entertaining and educational programme that included dance performances, games and a presentation prepared by the Embassy about the history, the formation of the nation and elements of the cuban culture. The event was also intended as a tool for the consolidation of the Spanish language in the Trinitarian schools.

Cubans and Barbadians celebrate the Day of the National Culture of Cuba.

With the presence of officials who traveled from Havana to celebrate this important occasion and other major events such as Sadia Acosta Brooks, from the Ministry of Culture (MINCULT) and Yamil Martinez, from the Cuban Institute of Friendship with the Peoples (ICAP), the Embassy of Cuba summoned the Barbadian friends and the community of Cuban residents to a multifaceted activity in the framework of the Day for National Culture Day, held at the Art Gallery of Errol Barrow Center for Creativity and Imagination (EBCCI).

Forum on US Embargo against Cuba takes place in the University of West Indies, Trinidad and Tobago

Port of Spain, October 18 .- Sponsored by the Institute of International Relations of the University "West Indies" of Trinidad and Tobago and the Embassy of Cuba, was held a discussion forum entitled " The Economic, Commercial and Financial Embargo of US against Cuba ". The programme of the event included remarks by the Ambassador of Cuba in Trinidad and Tobago, H.E. Guillermo Vázquez Moreno and Dr. Jacqueline Martinez LaGuardia, as well as a session dedicated to questions and answers.

Second Cuban Cultural Week is inaugurated in The Bahamas

NASSAU, October 14th, 2015. On Tuesday, October 13th, it was officially inaugurated in The Bahamas, the Second Cuban Cultural Week, which will take place until Friday, October 16th.

The second edition of the Second Cuban Cultural Week has been organized by the Cuban Embassy in this capital and the School of Liberal Arts of the College of The Bahamas (COB), which is the main venue of this event.
