Cuban Ambassador Vilma Reyes Valdespino gave an interview to the Public Information Agency on the occasion of the 25th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between Cuba and Saint Vincent and the Grenadines.

Photo exhibition "Comandante" was opening in Canada.

Ottawa May 26, 2017. About one hundred people gathered this afternoon at the Cuban Embassy in Canada to attend the opening of the photographic exhibition "Comandante", composed of 31 snapshots of the Commander-in-Chief of the Cuban Revolution Fidel Castro, taken by legendary photojournalists Alberto Díaz (Korda) and Liborio Noval, already dead, along with renowned photographer and documentary filmmaker Roberto Chile, present in Ottawa for the occasion.
 

Mighty Gabby´s concert closes the VI Caribbean cultural colloquium at Casa de las Américas.

The famous Barbadian musician Anthony "Mighty Gabby" Carter was specially invited to perform the closing concert of the VI Colloquium on Cultural Diversity of the Caribbean, organized by the House of the Americas in Havana, between May 22 and 26 . Gabby, well known as a Caribbean icon of Calypso, delighted a select audience with several of the most famous songs of his repertoire, which were recorded with seven young Cuban musicians, in another clear expression of island cultural integration.
