As part of the Second resumed session of the Fifth Committee, under item “Improving the financial situation of the United Nations”, the Deputy Permanent Representative of Cuba to the United Nations, Ambassador Ana Silvia Rodríguez Abascal considered today that the scope and complexity of the United Nations programs and operations, call for the political commitment of Member States and their willingness to finance the functions and activities of the Organization.

Nigeria, May 10, 2017.Following his return to Nigeria, the Deputy Governor of the State of Kaduna was received by the Cuban Ambassador to Nigeria, Carlos Trejo Sosa, at his Residence.
The dialogue was cordial and focused on the results of the official visit to Cuba by several representatives of the Kaduna State Government, including the Commissioner of Health and the Deputy Governor, who headed the delegation.
