Banjul, May 4, 2017. Professor Dr. Faqir Muhammad Anjum Chaudhry, Vice Chancellor of the University of The Gambia, visited the embassy in Cuba and held a working meeting with the Cuban ambassador to that African nation, Lázaro Herrera Martínez. Dr. Faqir was accompanied by Professor Ousman Nyan, Provost of the School of Medicine and Allied Health Sciences of the aforementioned university.
The Mahidol University and the Embassies of Latin American and Caribbean Countries with diplomatic representations in Bangkok, Thailand, have organized two "Latin American Music Night" concerts with the Thailand Philharmonic Orchestra and the College of Music of the Mahidol University.
Concerts will be held at Prince Mahidol Hall on Friday, 19/5 (19:00 hours) and Saturday 20/5 (16:00 hours).

THE BAHAMAS, 4 May 2017. -The Cuban Ambassador to The Bahamas, Ismara Vargas Walter, held a meeting with the Hon. Allyson Maynard Gibson, Attorney General and Minister of Legal Affairs of the Commonwealth of the Bahamas at the headquarters of this institution.
During the meeting, both sides reaffirmed their commitment to work together and ensure the proper implementation of the Memorandum of Understanding on migration issues between the two countries.
Last May 4, finished the Annual meeting of the Executive Council of World Federation of Trade Unions (WFTU) in Havana after fruitful and succesfull journeys of work.

I want to express my satisfaction at the holding of this meeting that allow us to state our views on issues that shall be debated in the 2020 Review Conference of the Treatment on the Non-Proliferation of Nuclear Weapons.
