The Ministry of Education launched a Human Medicine Scholarship Program for young Trinidadians offered by Cuba

Port Spain, May 10-. Cuban Government granted 9  scholarships as part of a scholarship program that Cuba has had with CARICOM countries for over three decades.

The studies includes general medicine,  radiography and physical therapy.

Malaysia and Cuba strengthen cooperation on nuclear safety

Kuala Lumpur, May 9 - The Director General of the Malaysian Atomic Energy Licensing Board of the Ministry of Science, Technology and Innovation, Hamrah bin Mohd Ali, welcomed the Cuban delegation that came during a week will participate in a technical visit for the exchange of experiences.

This visit, sponsored by the IAEA, will allow Cuban specialists to acquire knowledge about the nuclear security regime, the establishment of radioactive control systems at the borders that guarantee the security of the country.
