New Zealand Film Festival Arrives in Havana

Nearly a dozen of full-length films and eight short films from New Zealand complete the selection of the First Festival dedicated to the cinematography of the southern country in Havana, confirmed today the organizers of this festival.

From May 31 to June 4, the rooms of the Infanta Cinema, located in city centre of Havana, will host the exhibition of the selected productions, with the objective to show a new light on the production of the contemporary history of New Zealand, as well as on its current social and cultural framework.

Ulaanbaatar. 30 May 2017. The Hon. Mr. Munkh-Orgil, Minister of Foreign Affairs of Mongolia, visited the stand of the Embassy of Cuba at the "Open Day" organized by the Foreign Ministry in the central Sukhbaatar Square. This event is held annually and involves the Embassies and Representations of the International of Organizations accredited in Ulaanbaatar, to present the best components of their work in Mongolia as well as the culture, gastronomy, art and life of these countries.

Undersecretary of Americas of Malaysian Foreign Ministry Welcomes Cuban Ambassador

Kuala Lumpur, May 30 - The Undersecretary of Americas of the Malaysian Foreign Ministry, Dato Keneddy Jawan, received the Cuban ambassador in that country, Ibete Fernández Hernández, at the Foreign Ministry.

During the meeting the parties exchanged on topics of bilateral and multilateral interest and commented on the various projects being carried out to revitalize economic-trade relations between Cuba and Malaysia.

II Round of Migration Talks between Cuba and Canada

CUBA, May 29, 2017.- On June 1 and 2, 2017, the Second Round of Migration Talks between Cuba and Canada will take place in Ottawa. On the Cuban side, the talks will be chaired by Ernesto Soberón Guzmán, Director of Consular Affairs and Foreign Residents of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, while the Canadian delegation will be headed by Mr. Jacques Cloutier, Vice-President of the Canada Border Services Agency.
