Cuban Ambassador participates in celebration of Vietnam's National Day.

Canberra, September 5, 2024. The Cuban Ambassador to Australia participated today in the ceremony to celebrate Vietnam's National Day. 

During the event she conveyed to the Ambassador of Vietnam in Australia the most sincere congratulations for the commemoration as well as a warm greeting from the Cuban people and government. 

Cuban Ambassador to Australia participated in the annual event of ALBC in Brisbane

Brisbane, 4 September 2024. The Cuban Ambassador to Australia participated in the annual event of the Australian Latin America Business Council in Brisbane. 

During the event the Ambassador exchanged with entrepreneurs from different sectors as well as with ALBC President Richard Andrews and CEO Kim Pryor, about the opportunities offered by Cuba in the fields of biotechnology, mining, tourism and agriculture. 

Cuban Ambassador exchanges with Cuban members of the Queensland Ballet

Brisbane, 4 September 2024. The Cuban Ambassador to Australia visited the headquarters of the Queensland Ballet. During the tour, she was able to exchange with the Cubans who work as choreographers and dancers in the prestigious institution. 

These young people keep alive the legacy of Cuban dance and the prestige of the Cuban Ballet School, founded by Alicia Alonso and continued by prestigious figures such as Viengsay Valdés, current director of the BNC. 

Cuba coordinates the 19th edition of the Latin American Film Festival in Australia

Canberra, 31 July 2024. This year the XIX edition of the Latin American Film Festival (LAFF) will be held in Australia. On this occasion, the Festival is being coordinated by the Cuban Embassy, which is accompanied by the embassies of Colombia and El Salvador as part of the coordinating troika.

The festival will be held from 8 to 28 August in Canberra. Subsequently, it will be held in other cities in the country until December.
