Music builds bridges between the peoples of Cuba and Australia
Sydney, Apr 14 (Prensa Latina) The Cuban ambassador to Australia, Tanieris Diéguez, described the concert of Cuban music held at the Sydney Opera House as an opportunity to build bridges between our peoples through culture.
The diplomat said she was thrilled, not only by the massive attendance and enthusiasm of the audience, but also by the opportunity for Cuban music to return to this prestigious artistic institution after several years of absence.
Vice President of the Union of Jurists of Cuba visiting Australia
Sydney, Apr 14 (Prensa Latina) The deputy to the National Assembly (Parliament) and vice president of the Union of Jurists of Cuba, Yamila González, began a working visit today aimed at strengthening bilateral ties in this sector.
During her stay in Australia, González will be received by the Ambassador for Gender Equality, Stephanie Copus Cambpbell, and will hold meetings with the faculty of the University of Sydney, as well as with personalities of the legal sector.

Cuban Chamber of Commerce and the Australia Latin America Business Council (ALABC). signed cooperation agreement
Canberra, 9 April 2025. A cooperation agreement was signed this morning between the Cuban Chamber of Commerce and the Australia Latin America Business Council (ALABC).
The signature of the agreement took place at the Embassy of Cuba and was attended by the Executive Director of ALABC, Kim Prior and the Cuban Ambassador to Australia Tanieris Diéguez who signed the document on behalf of the President of the Chamber of Commerce of the largest of the Antilles.
