Cuban Ambassador participates in the Reception for the National Day of Peru

Canberra, 28 July 2025 - The Cuban Ambassador to Australia, Tanieris Diéguez, attended the official reception organized by the Embassy of Peru in Canberra to commemorate the 204th anniversary of Peru's Independence.

During the ceremony, the diplomat reaffirmed Cuba's interest in continuing to strengthen bilateral relations between both countries.

The event was attended by Australian Government officials, members of the diplomatic corps and the Peruvian community in Australia.

ACFS celebrates July 26th in different Australian cities

Canberra, 27 July 2025 - The Australian-Cuban Friendship Society (ACFS) organized a series of events in several Australian cities to commemorate the 72nd anniversary of Cuba's National Rebellion Day, recalling the storming of the Moncada and Carlos Manuel de Céspedes Barracks in 1953, a founding moment of the Cuban Revolution.

Canberra, 23 July 2025 - The Chargé d'Affaires a.i. of the Cuban Embassy in Australia, Ivianes González Llanes, participated in the reception commemorating the 58th anniversary of the founding of the Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN), organized by the embassies of member countries in Canberra.

The occasion was an opportunity to strengthen cooperation ties between Cuba and several ASEAN member countries, particularly in areas such as health, education and cultural exchange.
