Cuban Ambassador exchanges with Ambassador for Indigenous Peoples Justin Mohamed

 

Canberra, May 9, 2025. At the headquarters of the Cuban Embassy in Australia, the representative of the largest of the Antilles in the southern country received the Ambassador for Australian indigenous peoples Justin Mohamed.

During the meeting, the two diplomats discussed the possibilities for the development of bilateral relations, particularly with indigenous peoples in areas such as health, education and sport.

Cuba has been cooperating with Australian First Nations in the field of education for more than 10 years.

Cuban Ambassador participates in dialogue with former Australian diplomat Susan Boyd

Canberra, May 8, 2025. The Cuban Ambassador exchanged today with former Australian diplomat Susan Boyd as part of the presentation of her book in an activity sponsored by the Latin American Women Heads of Mission accredited in Australia.

During the enjoyable meeting, the Women Heads of Mission accredited in Australia were able to discuss the challenges faced by women in the exercise of diplomacy and the challenges still facing the world today in the advancement of women in these spheres. 

Cuban Ambassador exchanges with members of the Cuba solidarity movement in New Castle

 

New Castle, 3 May 2025. The Cuban Ambassador to Australia exchanged with members of the Cuba Solidarity Movement in that city. During the meeting she addressed different topics of interest, in particular the impact of the economic, commercial and financial blockade imposed by the United States against Cuba.

The event also served to establish a new branch of the ACFS movement in this beautiful city.

Cuban Ambassador participates in ABSC Annual Gala 

Sydney, 2 May 2025. The Cuban Ambassador to Australia participated in the Annual Gala of the Australian Business Summit Council, an organization dedicated to the promotion of business and investment. During the event she was received by the President of the ABSC Frank Alafaci with whom she exchanged on the possibilities of cooperation.

At the event, which was also attended by members of the diplomatic corps and the business sector in Australia, there was an exchange of views on business opportunities in various areas of the Cuban economy.
