GRULAC Ambassadors meet with Senator Simon Birmingham

Canberra, September 11, 2024. GRULAC Ambassadors accredited to Australia met today with Senator Simon Birmingham, Leader of the Opposition in the Senate, at the Australian Parliament. 

During the meeting, they were able to discuss the possibilities for the development of bilateral relations between Australia and Latin America. The Cuban Ambassador to Australia participated in the meeting. 

 

Cuban Ambassador participates in National Day of Guatemala

Canberra, September 11, 2024. The Cuban Ambassador to Australia participated today in the celebrations for the National Day of Guatemala.

During the event she conveyed to the Chargé d'Affaires of that country in Australia congratulations on behalf of the Cuban people and government. 

Cuban Ambassador participates in ACT exhibition at the Australian Parliament

Canberra, September 11, 2024. The Ambassador of Cuba, invited by MP David Smith, participated in the exhibition of the Australian capital at the headquarters of the Federal Parliament. 

During the event she was able to exchange with several managers of historical and cultural centers of interest. 

It was a colorful event with the participation of the GRULAC Ambassadors.

 

Cuban Ambassador participates in celebration of Vietnam's National Day.

Canberra, September 5, 2024. The Cuban Ambassador to Australia participated today in the ceremony to celebrate Vietnam's National Day. 

During the event she conveyed to the Ambassador of Vietnam in Australia the most sincere congratulations for the commemoration as well as a warm greeting from the Cuban people and government. 

Cuban Ambassador exchanges with Cuban members of the Queensland Ballet

Brisbane, 4 September 2024. The Cuban Ambassador to Australia visited the headquarters of the Queensland Ballet. During the tour, she was able to exchange with the Cubans who work as choreographers and dancers in the prestigious institution. 

These young people keep alive the legacy of Cuban dance and the prestige of the Cuban Ballet School, founded by Alicia Alonso and continued by prestigious figures such as Viengsay Valdés, current director of the BNC.
