Havana, June 2, 2026. The United States government has once again acted with premeditated intent in its eagerness to create pretexts to discredit the Cuban Revolution, its historical leadership, and its leaders, thereby confusing both our people and international public opinion.

The Revolutionary Government condemns in the strongest terms the despicable accusation by the United States Department of Justice announced on May 20 and proclaimed for several weeks against Army General Raúl Castro Ruz, leader of the Cuban Revolution.
The President and other ICAP officials meet with members of the solidarity movement in Australia.
Canberra, 12 May 2026. The president of the Cuban Institute of Friendship with the Peoples (ICAP), Fernando González, along with other officials from the institution, held a videoconference with representatives of the Solidarity movement with Cuba in Australia.
Also participating were the Cuban Ambassador to Australia, Gilma Moreira Lino, and members of the Cuban Diplomatic Mission.

The Executive Order of May 1st and the blockade measures announced today further increase the harm to the Cuban Population and reinforce the threat of aggression.
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs rejects, in the strongest possible terms, the Executive Order issued by the White House on May 1st, 2026, which tightens, to unprecedented and extreme levels, the economic, commercial and financial blockade against Cuba.
