The Cuban Ambassador participates in the African Freedom Day celebrations
Canberra, May 19, 2023. The Cuban Ambassador Tanieris Diéguez La O participated in the African Freedom Day celebration hosted by the Embassy of South Africa to the Commonwealth of Australia.
At the event, the diplomat conveyed the greetings of the Cuban authorities and reaffirmed the close and historic ties of friendship and cooperation that exist between the two peoples.
Cuban company "Ballet Revolution" touring the main Australian cities
Canberra 18 May, 2023. Ballet Revolution is touring major Australian cities from 11 May to 3. June. From Gold Coast, Brisbane, Sydney, Melbourne, Adelaide to Perth, it will be articulating a series of presentations for the Australian public with a new production, where contemporary dance, hip-hop and traditional Cuban elements are merged.
Ambassador of Cuba presents Letters of Credence to the Governor-General of the Commonwealth of Australia
Canberra, 17 May, 2023 - The Ambassador Tanieris Diéguez presented the Letters of Credence, in a solemn ceremony before the Governor-General of the Commonwealth of Australia, His Excellency David John Hurley, confirming her as an Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Cuba to Australia.
Cuban Ambassador participates in a cultural activity sponsored by the Embassy of Mongolia
Canberra, 17 May, 2023. The Cuban Ambassador to the Commonwealth of Australia participated in a cultural activity sponsored by the Embassy of Mongolia.
The event was attended by several members of the diplomatic corp accredited in Australia. The activity included presentations of traditional artistic manifestations from that Asian country.
Ambassador of Cuba participates in the commemoration of the 35th Anniversary of the Australian Parliament Building
Canberra, 8 May, 2023. The Cuban Ambassador to the Commonwealth of Australia participated in the Official Commemoration held on the occasion of the 35th Anniversary of the Australian Parliament Building.
The event was attended by the President of the Senate, Sue Lines and the Speaker of the House of Representatives of the legislative body, Milton Dick. Representatives of the diplomatic corps, as well as senators and parliamentarians were also present.
