The Cuban Ambassador participates in Australia-GRULAC Dialogue on Renewable Energies
Canberra, 10 June, 2023. The Cuban Ambassador in Canberra participated in the Australia-GRULAC "Foresight Dialogue on H2 trade and certification structures", organized by the Latin America Division of the Australian Foreign Ministry in conjunction with the GRULAC countries.
The event was an opportunity to exchange experiences among countries on the development of H2 trade certification schemes.
"From Australia to Cuba with Love" 2023 Campaign has begun
Brisbane, June 3, 2023. In the capital of the State of Queensland, this Saturday, the campaign "From Australia to Cuba with Love" began.
Members and supporters from across Australia will ride, walk, run and dance their way to cover 14,886 km between the capital cities of Canberra and Havana. A special launch event was held on Saturday, 3 June to open the campaign, and according to the organizers, the grand finale will be at the National Consultation in Melbourne the last weekend in July.
Australia-Cuba Friendship Society demonstrates against the U.S. blockade
Canberra, 28 May, 2023. Members of the Australia-Cuba Friendship Society demonstrated this Sunday to demand once again the end of the blockade imposed by the government of the United States on Cuba.
From different Australian cities, the friends of solidarity raised their voices and strongly denounced the limitations suffered by the Cuban people due to the U.S. blockade.
The Communist Party of Australia urges to strengthen international rejection against the blockade
"It is urgent to strengthen the united solidarity against the blockade of the United States government against Cuba", urged Vinnie Molina, the national president of the Communist Party of Australia (PCA), in an extensive newspaper article published in this month's edition of The Guardian newspaper, the official organ of that political organization.
