STOP THE US OIL BLOCKADE AGAINST CUBA!
Since the beginning of the year, oil supplies to Cuba have almost completely stopped. The US is intensifying its blockade policy, which not only sanctions Cuba, but also countries that trade oil with Cuba.
Zeitund Der Arbeeit denounces serious impact of oil embargo on health of Cuban population
Vienna, February 19. The newspaper Zeitung der Arbeit (ZdA), the official organ of the Austrian Labor Party (PdA), published an article highlighting the consequences of the oil embargo imposed by the United States against Cuba, with an emphasis on maternal and child health.
Cuba: US oil embargo puts 32,000 pregnant women at risk
Havana. A publication by the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Cuba highlights the devastating effects of the US energy blockade against the island. More than 32,880 pregnant women are exposed to additional risks, threats, and restrictions as a result of the US government's energy blockade against Cuba. Other important medical services for newborns, minors, diabetics, cancer treatments, surgical procedures, and emergencies are also limited due to the energy shortage.
Austrian youth join International Declaration in support of Cuba against the blockade
Vienna, February 16. Two youth organizations in Austria have confirmed their support for the recent “Joint Statement by Communist and Anti-Imperialist Youth Organizations” in support of Cuba, in a move that reflects growing solidarity activism with the island in the European country.

At the initiative of the Communist Youth of Greece (KNE), a joint statement was published on February 13 by communist and anti-imperialist youth organizations from around the world condemning the increasing aggression by the USA against Cuba.
