Dr. Maria del Carmen Dominguez, head of the autoimmunity division of CIGB, BioCubaFarma and Dr. Oliver Perez, Full Professor at the University of Medicine of Havana, member of the Cuban Academy of Sciences and former president of the Latin American Association of Immunology, represent Cuba at the 19th Congress of Immunology to be held in Vienna from August 17-22, 2025.

Austria denounces intensification of blockade against Cuba
Vienna, Jul 14 (Prensa Latina) The Communist Youth of Austria (KJÖ) issued a statement condemning the presidential memorandum of Donald Trump's administration, which reinforces the economic, commercial and financial blockade against Cuba.
The document issued from Washington and released days ago, is a reissue of National Security Presidential Memorandum No. 5 of 2017 and represents a new attempt to suffocate the island and undermine its sovereignty, the statement said.
