For the fifteenth consecutive time, the 37th Assembly of the African Union, composed of African Heads of State and Government, adopted a resolution condemning the continued illegal economic, commercial, and financial embargo imposed on the Republic of Cuba by the United States of America. On this occasion, the African Union is also calling for the removal of Cuba from the unilateral list of countries that allegedly sponsor terrorism.

Democratic congressmen from Massachusetts asked US President Joe Biden to remove Cuba from the list of sponsors of terrorism, a designation issued at the end of Donald Trump's administration, The Hill newspaper reported today.
