The African Union adopts a resolution rejecting the blockade imposed by the United States against our country and requests the removal of Cuba from the unilateral list of countries that allegedly sponsor terrorism

Addis Ababa, 19 February 2024.  For the fifteenth consecutive time, the 37th Assembly of the African Union, composed of African Heads of State and Government, adopted a resolution condemning the continued illegal economic, commercial, and financial embargo imposed on the Republic of Cuba by the United States of America. On this occasion, the African Union is also calling for the removal of Cuba from the unilateral list of countries that allegedly sponsor terrorism.

U.S. Congressmen ask Biden to remove Cuba from terrorist list.

Democratic congressmen from Massachusetts asked US President Joe Biden to remove Cuba from the list of sponsors of terrorism, a designation issued at the end of Donald Trump's administration, The Hill newspaper reported today.

Members of Congress criticized Trump's inclusion of Cuba in that arbitrary and unilateral list of State Sponsors of Terrorism (SSOT) and urged Biden to revoke it, published Tuesday an article in the newspaper specialized in political and legislative issues.
