Havana, August 21, 2023 - In the context of the 70th anniversary of the assault on the Moncada and Carlos Manuel de Céspedes Barracks, new health professionals from the Island and sister nations, graduates from different faculties of the University of Medical Sciences of Havana attended their graduation ceremony held at the Avellaneda Hall of the National Theater of Cuba.

Martínez Herrera had a cordial exchange with the First Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Liberia, Honorable Henry Fahnbulleh, an excellent opportunity where they discussed issues of interest to both parties in the bilateral and multilateral area.
The meeting was also propitious to hold a profitable exchange in view of the political-diplomatic events of the current year.
Monrovia, January 18, 2023 - Cuban Head of Mission Mercedes L. Martínez Herrera held a fraternal exchange with Ambassador Sarah Safny Fyneah, designated Permanent Representative of Liberia to the United Nations and its organs, concurrent to the Cuban state.
In a cordial atmosphere, both diplomats exchanged on various issues, including the commitment of both countries to strengthen bilateral ties and work together to identify areas of mutually beneficial collaboration.
