Liberian Minister of Education receives Cuban Head of Mission.

Monrovia, January 13, 2023 - On Friday morning, the Minister of Education of the Republic of Liberia, Prof. Ansu Dao Sonii, received in his office the Cuban Chief of Mission Mercedes L. Martinez Herrera.

The occasion was propitious for the Cuban diplomat to refer to the academic exchange opportunities offered by the International Congress "Pedagogy 2023" to be held between January 30 and February 3 of this year in Havana.

Fruitful meeting between Cuban Head of Mission and Liberian Assistant Minister for American Affairs.

Monrovia, August 17, 2022 - This morning, I had a fraternal exchange with the Assistant Minister for American Affairs of the Liberian Foreign Ministry, Honorable Maxwell P. Vah, with whom I discussed issues of bilateral and multilateral interest.

The meeting demonstrated the willingness of both governments to strengthen bilateral relations.

The occasion was propitious for exchanging on current national and international events and the state of bilateral relations between the two countries.

Liberia-Cuba solidarity group sends congratulatory message on the 48th anniversary of diplomatic relations.

Monrovia, April 16, 2022 - On the occasion of the celebration of the 48th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between the Republic of Cuba and the Republic of Liberia, the President of the Liberia-Cuba Friendship Association, on behalf of all its members, delivered a congratulatory message to the Cuban Head of Mission Mercedes L. Martinez Herrera.

Cuban Head of Mission is received at the Liberian Foreign Ministry.

Monrovia, April 11, 2022 - In the morning hours, the Head of Mission Mercedes L. Martínez Herrera was received at the Liberian Foreign Ministry by the Assistant Minister of American Affairs of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Liberia, Hon. Maxwell P. Vah.

Both diplomats held a fruitful meeting where they discussed issues of interest of the bilateral agenda and in which both parties expressed their willingness to continue strengthening the ties that unite Cuba and Liberia.

Monrovia, March 14, 2022 - This morning, the Head of the Cuban Mission in Liberia, Mercedes L. Martínez Herrera, received at the diplomatic headquarters of that country in Monrovia the deputy minister a.i. of International Cooperation and Economic Integration, Honorable Dave Kountu.

During the exchange, issues of bilateral interest were discussed.

Cuban Head of Mission holds fruitful meeting with President of the University of Liberia.

Monrovia, February 17, 2022. - In the heat of events taking place during the celebration of the Bicentennial of the founding of Liberia, Cuban Head of Mission Mercedes L. Martinez Herrera held a friendly meeting with the President of the University of Liberia Prof. Dr. Julius J. S. Nelson, Jr.

During the meeting, both parties ratified their willingness to work towards strengthening bilateral relations in the field of education.
