Cuban volleyball delegation to visit Cambodia
A delegation of the Cuban Volleyball Federation will travel to Cambodia from October 14 to 24 in response to an invitation from its counterpart in that country. The interest of both parties is to expand and strengthen sports cooperation. The exchange will contribute to the preparation of the volleyball players of the brother country in view of the XXXII Southeast Asian Games, to be organized by Cambodia in 2023.
Cooperation agreements strengthen Cuba-Cambodia relations
The signing of two cooperation agreements in the cultural and sports areas strengthens ties between Cambodia and Cuba, whose Prime Minister Manuel Marrero is on his second day of the official visit to Phnom Penh. The agreements were signed at the end of the official talks between Marrero and his counterpart Samdech Techo Hun Sen at the Peace Palace on Tuesday, in which they noted the progress in the bilateral relationship and ratified the commitment to continue strengthening it.
Cuban PM Lays Wreath at Independence Monument
Cuban Prime Minister Manuel Marrero Cruz yesterday began his official three-day visit to Cambodia to boost ties between the two nations.His trip comes after Prime Minister Hun Sen paid a visit to Cuba last month which resulted in the signing of three Memoranda of Understandings. During the visit, Marrero Cruz will pay a courtesy call to King Norodom Sihamoni at the Royal Place, according to the Foreign Affairs Ministry’s statement.
