Role of culture praised in Cuba-Cambodia ties

The role that culture plays in the links between Cambodia and Cuba was praised by the Secretary of State of the Ministry of Culture and Fine Arts of Cambodia, Pen Mony Makara. In a fraternal meeting with Cuban Ambassador Liurka Rodriguez, both agreed to identify this sector as a valuable pillar in bilateral relations and highlighted the existence of a collaboration program in this field.

Agricultural links between Cuba and Cambodia, a pillar

The Cuban ambassador in Cambodia, Liurka Rodríguez Barrios, held a meeting with Borin Khieu, sub-secretary of State of the Cambodian Ministry of Environment. His recommendations to advance sustainable agriculture were very valuable, taking into account the cooperation projects in this sector between Havana and the kingdom.

Cuban Deputy FM receives copy of credentials letter of new Cambodian Ambassador

H.E. Chea Thireak, new Ambassador to Cuba,  presented the copy of credential letter to H. E. Mrs Anayansi Rodriguez Camejo, Deputy Minister at the Ministry of foreign Affairs of the Republic of Cuba. During the meeting, the will of both governments to continue strengthening ties in different areas, including health, agriculture, sports, and human resources training, was ratified.

Cambodia continues accompanying Cuba in the battle to end the unjust US blockade

The Ambassador of Cuba in Cambodia, Liurka Rodríguez, received the Ambassador designated in Havana, Chea Thireak. Both diplomats reviewed the active bilateral agenda of the past year and agreed that both share the responsibility of contributing to the increase in ties. With extensive experience in multilateral work, Ambassador Thireak ratified the government's commitment to continue accompanying Cuba in the battle to end the unjust US blockade; exclusion from the list of sponsors of terrorism, and other noble causes defended by the Island. For her part, the representative of Havana in Phnom Penh highlighted the progress in cooperation projects, including those related to sports, health, human resources training, agriculture, among others.

Cambodia-Cuba relations are promising

The Prime Minister of the Kingdom of Cambodia, Samdech Hun Sen, predicted that the bilateral effort to increase relations between Cuba and his country in various spheres today has a promising future. According to the assessment of the Cambodian head of government, expressed in a greeting message regarding the 64th anniversary of the triumph of the Cuban Revolution, the year 2022 marked a milestone in the ties of friendship between both nations.
