Consultation process and discussion of the Code of Families from the General Consulate of Cuba in Montreal.
Ottawa, March 24 - At the General Consulate of Cuba in Montreal was held the process of consultation and discussion of the draft Code of Families.
The meeting provided an opportunity to discuss the fundamental aspects of the project and to express criteria that will contribute to the enrichment of the Code, through various points of view.
The debate evidenced the consensus of the participants on the modern and inclusive character of this document, which is representative of Cuban society today.

The meeting was an opportune time to introduce the new General Consul and to reflect on the main problems faced by women on a daily basis, challenges, perspectives and continuity in the struggle to fully achieve all their rights.

Ottawa, March 7, 2022 - On March 5 and 6, the Outdoor Adventure and Travel Show, considered the largest outdoor adventure and sports show in the world, was successfully held in Vancouver, Canada, with an excellent advertising campaign in the press, radio, digital media and social networks.
As usual, Cuba was well received at this event, because from Western Canada our island is considered as a cultural and historical destination, beyond being a typical recreational destination.

Ottawa, February 26, 2022 - On February 25 and 26, members of the Juan Gualberto Gómez Association of Cuban Residents in Toronto and the General Consulate of Cuba in that city, actively participated in the coordination and collection of an important donation of materials and machinery essential for trade schools in Cuba, which was made by the dear friend of our homeland, Agustín Lobo, a Chilean citizen and also a Cuban at heart.
