Strengthening ties of friendship from British Columbia.
After an intense working tour through several Canadian provinces, Sandra Ramírez, Director of the North America Desk of the Cuban Institute of Friendship with the Peoples (ICAP by its acronym in Spanish language), together with Aileen Carmenaty, Press and Cultural Attaché of the Cuban Embassy in Canada, visited British Columbia, where they held several meetings with friends of Cuba from Vancouver, Nanaimo, Victoria and Calgary (Alberta).
Cuban Consulate participates in Toronto Latin Fair.
On Sunday, July 3, the Consulate of Cuba along with other Latin American consulates accredited in Toronto (Argentina, Colombia, Costa Rica, Dominican Republic, El Salvador and Mexico) exhibited part of their roots at the Latin Fair in Toronto to highlight the Hispanic heritage and cultural diversity in Canada.
Meeting between ICAP and solidarity organizations residing in Montreal.
During a pleasant meeting, Sandra Ramirez Rodriguez, Director of the North America Desk of the Cuban Institute of Friendship with the Peoples ICAP and solidarity organizations and Cubans living in Montreal held a fruitful exchange in the Canadian city. The meeting was also attended by Susana Malmierca Benítez, General Consul in Montreal, accompanied by other members of the Consulate.
10th Biennial Convention of the Canadian Network on Cuba
On June 25 and 26, the 10th Biennial Convention of the Canadian Network on Cuba (CNC) was held in Toronto, where Sandra Ramirez Rodriguez, Director of the North America Desk of ICAP, the Cuban ambassador, Héctor Igarza and the General Consul, Yanier Castellanos, as well as friends of solidarity and members of the Juan Gualberto Gómez Association of Cubans Residing in Toronto, were present.

The Consulate of Cuba was invited by the president of the Casa Palestina in Toronto, Amin El maoued, to the Palestinian Latin night, together with Enzo Moreno, director of the Latin American Cultural Center, and members of the left-wing of the communities of Chile, El Salvador, Argentina and Uruguay.
