Monrovia, January 25, 2020 - The Liberia-Cuba Friendship Association condemns the recent vandalism to the busts of the National Hero José Martí by stateless counter-revolutionaries financed by Washington, when all of Cuba was celebrating the 61st anniversary of the triumph of its Revolution.

In their statement, the friends of Cuba expressed their repudiation and indignation at such provocations and declared that José Martí is alive in the hearts of all those who wish for a better world.

Monrovia, January 24, 2020 - Today in the afternoon, the welcoming activity for the new Heads of Diplomatic Missions in Liberia took place.

The reception was organized by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Liberia.

At the end of the ceremony the newly appointed diplomats had the opportunity to greet the Foreign Minister and other Ministers attending the event.

Monrovia, January 9, 2020 - Members of the group of Liberians who graduated in Cuba in various specialties met at the headquarters of the Cuban diplomatic mission of that West African nation where they had a friendly and lively meeting with Chargé d'Affaires Mercedes Martinez Herrera.

President George Manneh Weah has sent a congratulatory message to the Government and people of the Republic of Cuba, on the occasion of the anniversary of the triumph of the Cuban Revolution. 

In the message to his Cuban Counterpart, His Excellency Miguel Diaz-Canel, President George Manneh Weah conveyed, on behalf of the Government and people of Liberia, and in his own name, warmest felicitations and sincere best wishes to the Government and people of Cuba, as they commemorate this historic event
