The Cuban Ambassador held a fruitful meeting at the Malaysian Foreign Ministry

Kuala Lumpur, January 20, 2026. The Cuban Ambassador to Malaysia, Yadira Ledesma Hernández, held a fruitful exchange with the Undersecretary of Americas Division of the Department of Bilateral Affairs, Ambassador Nur Azman Rahim, at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Malaysia.

After reaffirming the close ties of friendship between Malaysia and Cuba, they discussed global issues of mutual interest and efforts to strengthen bilateral relations.

US imperialism hands off Cuba and Venezuela!!!

Warsaw, January 19, 2026.

Friends of Cuba condemns the US imperialist aggression against the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela and continuous threats against the Republic of Cuba. We condemn the use of force in the international relations and the criminal act resulting in the deaths of Venezuelans as well as 32 Cuban soldiers.

Attack on Venezuela constitutes an unquestionable and open violation of international law. It was an act of terror preceded by numerous acts of piracy against tankers transporting Venezuelan oil.

There are no talks with the US government, except for technical contacts in the area of migration. 

We have always been willing to engage in serious and responsible dialogue with the various US administrations, including the current one, on the basis of sovereign equality, mutual respect, principles of international law, mutual benefit without interference in domestic affairs, and with full respect for our independence. 

The Cuban Embassy in Malaysia joins the national mourning in honor of compatriots who fell in the line of duty in Venezuela.

Kuala Lumpur, January 5, 2026. The Embassy of Cuba in Malaysia joins the National Mourning declared by the Revolutionary Government for the loss of our compatriots who fell defending their duty.

To the 32 Cubans that lost their lives in combat, while serving on missions representing the Revolutionary Armed Forces and the Ministry of the Interior, at the request of their counterparts in Venezuela, Eternal glory!

As a result of the criminal attack perpetrated by the United States government against the sister Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, carried out in the early morning of January 3, 2026, 32 Cubans lost their lives in combat. They were serving on missions representing the Revolutionary Armed Forces and the Ministry of the Interior, at the request of their counterparts in the South American country.
