Kuala Lumpur February 4, 2026. The Socialist Party of Malaysia (PSM) issued a statement strongly condemning the new escalation of economic blockade imposed by the imperialist US against Cuba.
After the demonstration of member of the Socialist Party of Malaysia in solidarity with Cuba, Venezuela and Latin America at the premises of USA Embassy in Kuala Lumpur on February 3, 2026, the ambassador of Cuba to Malaysia, Yadira Ledesma Hernández, appreciated the solidary friends of Cuban Revolution for its commitment with justice, peace and for its anti-imperialism.
On February 3rd, a demonstration of solidarity with Cuba, Venezuela, and Latin America took place in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.
The event, organized by the Socialist Party of Malaysia, brought together solidary friends and had a clearly anti-imperialist character, defending respect for Latin America and the Caribbean as a Zone of Peace.

Cuba unequivocally condemns terrorism in all its forms and manifestations, while reaffirming its commitment to cooperate with the United States and other nations to strengthen regional and international security.
The Revolutionary Government condemns in the strongest terms the new escalation by the US government against Cuba in its efforts to impose a total blockade on fuel supplies to our country. The executive order issued by the US President on January 29, 2026, declares a supposed national emergency, under which his government will be able to impose trade tariffs on imports of products from countries that supply oil to Cuba.
