Namibia, April 16th, 2020- The Namibian newspaper New Era published in its digital and printed versions the article entitled: "US aggression towards Cuba persist despite calls for global unity." The article is co-authored by the Third Secretary of the Cuban Embassy in Namibia, Aldo Fuentes, and the journalist Vitalio Angula.

Dear friends,

With deep humanistic conviction, the government and people of Cuba offer the world, once again, the example of militant Solidarity at a time when the planet is facing the global pandemic of the new Coronavirus Sars Cov-2, Covid-19, which has already claimed the lives of more than 70 thousand people in the world in a very short time.

Group of Liberian graduated in Cuba issues Official Statement.

Monrovia, April 5, 2020 - This afternoon, the "Group of Liberian graduated in Cuba" sent to our embassy in Monrovia and published in the social networks its declaration condemning the blockade in view of the situation faced by our country in its fight against the global pandemic COVID-19.

The document was sent to our diplomatic mission and posted on social networks by the executive member of this group, Mr. William Wesseh, a Liberian graduate in Cuba with a degree in Electromedicine.

Individuals have key role in fighting COVID-19, Cuban Ambassador says

Despite the decisions taken by the government as preventive and precautionary measures to limit the spread of the coronavirus, companies and individuals also have a key role in fighting the virus.

Ambassador of Cuba to Qatar, Emilio Caballero Rodriguez, has appreciated the procedures taken by the government to fight coronavirus.

Allow me to mention that it has been thanks to a technical miracle and the support of the Secretariat that Cuba has been able to participate in this video-conference.  It so happens that the website that hosts the platform of the Association, through which all participants are able to connect to this important meeting, has denied access to Cuba for reasons of the blockade imposed by the United States against our country.
