Cuba took a cultural sample to the 2024 Events DC Embassy Chef Challenge, a distinguished international culinary competition, held at the Union Station headquarters in Washington D.C.
Represented by traditional Cuban beverages and gastronomic dishes, as well as promotional posters of our tourist destinations, the Cuban stand received hundreds of visitors who came to taste the proposals. Guests enjoyed the famous mojito and also received a detailed explanation from the Cuban delegation on the cultural heritage of the largest of the Antilles.

Cuba thanks Africa for its support against the U.S. blockade.

Cuban Foreign Minister Bruno Rodriguez today expressed gratitude to Africa for its permanent support against the blockade maintained by the United States for more than six decades against the island.

In his profile on the social network X, the top representative of Cuban diplomacy highlighted that the XXXVII African Union Summit, recently held in Ethiopia, approved for the fifteenth consecutive time a resolution calling for an end to Washington's siege.

Prestigious jurists at the International Tribunal against the blockade of Cuba.

Prestigious jurists from Europe and the United States are part of the International Tribunal against the economic blockade imposed by the United States on Cuba more than 60 years ago.

According to the Cuban Institute of Friendship with the Peoples (ICAP), the conclave will take place on November 16 and 17 in Brussels, capital of Belgium.

This Tribunal has the support of these representatives of legal organizations from Spain, Germany, Italy, Greece, Belgium and the United States, said the president of ICAP, Fernando Gonzalez Llort, at a press conference held on Thursday.

Chancellor highlighted UN condemnation of Cuba's inclusion on U.S. list.

Cuban Foreign Minister Bruno Rodriguez today considered significant the reiterated condemnation at the UN General Assembly of the inclusion of his country in the unilateral and spurious list of countries called sponsors of terrorism.

This list has "slanderous political implications, in very diverse matters", but it has a truly extreme impact on the international financial system, said the head of state during an interview with the multi-state television channel Telesur.

Cuba denounces US restrictions on UN member states.

Cuba today described as unjustified the restrictions imposed on the operation of some UN member delegations in breach of the obligations of the United States as host country of the organization.

The alternate permanent representative of the Caribbean island, Yuri Gala, rejected the selective and arbitrary use of the Headquarters Agreement by the North American nation to prevent or limit the participation of officials from some countries in the work of the United Nations, a flagrant violation of the principle of sovereign equality among all members of the forum.

Biden must remove Cuba from terrorist list, U.S. officials say
