Council of State Approves New Decree-Laws to Advance the Implementation of Economic and Social Transformations

The international forum “Connecting Roots”, convened by the Union of Young Communists of Cuba (UJC), brought together participants from the diaspora in different countries. From the Embassy of Cuba in Grenada, young residents of this Caribbean nation joined the virtual meeting, where they reaffirmed their commitment to the homeland and to the values of the Revolution.

Harare, July 13, 2026 – The Ambassador of Cuba, Her Excellency Susellys Pérez Mesa, met today with Zimbabwean students who have received scholarships to pursue university studies on the Caribbean island.

The Ambassador briefed Isaac Gumbese and McDonald Matanhire on the historic bilateral relations between the two countries, as well as Cuba's collaboration in health and education, which has resulted in the graduation of some three thousand professionals for this African nation.

The T.A. Marryshow Community College held its thirty-seventh graduation ceremony at the Kirani James Athletic Stadium under the theme “Excellence in Action: Shaping Grenada’s Future.” The event brought together national authorities, families, and students in an atmosphere of pride and celebration for the achievements attained.
