The 38 Session of the Intergovernmental Commission for economic and scientific-technical collaboration between Cuba and Vietnam concluded today with the signing of several agreements in the areas of agriculture, fisheries, biotechnology and science, as well as for the development of the Bilateral Economic Agenda to 2020 -2025.
The celebrations for the 60th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations with seven Asian nations culminated with the presentation of the audiovisual "60 years: the strength of close friendship with seven Asian countries", at the headquarters of the Cuban Ministry of Foreign Relations.

Havana, December 21, 2020- The Republic of Mongolia and the Republic of Cuba canceled this Monday a commemorative stamp on the occasion of the 60th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between both countries, in the presence of the member of the Political Bureau and Minister of Relations Foreign Affairs, Bruno Rodríguez Parrilla, and the Mongolian ambassador to Cuba, Excma. The Ambassador of Cuba in Mongolia, Raúl Delgado Concepción handed today the documents that officially accredit three young Mongols selected for higher education on the island as part of the cooperation program that Cuba offers annually to this Asian nation. Due to the Covid-19 pandemic, the presentation had to be made individually and taking into account the distancing measures.
Suva, December 13. With a call to defend the principles of the United Nations and strengthen its role on the international scene, the Cuban Embassy participated in the celebrations for the 75th anniversary of that Organization and for Human Rights Day, which took place in Nadi, to the west of the country.
Suva, December 11. Cuba reaffirmed its solidarity with the Pacific Islands and reiterated the imperative to implement urgent actions and more ambitious commitments that contribute to mitigate or eliminate the effects of climate variations, by intervening in the High-Level Roundtable on Urgent Climate Change Action, hosted virtually by the Pacific Islands Forum (PIF) Secretariat.
