Havana, December 1, 2020.- The General Director in charge of the United States at the Cuban Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Carlos Fernandez de Cossio, affirmed that Cuba will defend its sovereignty against the aggressions the United States currently intensifies.
Vietnam's Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister, Pham Binh Minh, declared that Cuba is an important and reliable partner of the Indochinese nation, by intervening in an act to celebrate 60 years of bilateral diplomatic relations.
Chancellor stated that both countries have built a close friendship, comprehensive and deep cooperation relationship between the two Parties, Governments and Parliaments, as well as at all local and central levels, and between socio-political organizations and associations.
"I denounce that President Donald Trump’s administration is directly involved in the funding and directing civil disobedience and illegal actions against law and order in Cuba. Prime Minister of Vietnam, Nguyen Xuan Phuc, received the Cuban ambassador, Lianys Torres Rivera, at the end of her mission in this country.
Xuan Phuc affirmed that the Vietnamese people have very much in mind the phrase of the historical leader of the Revolution Fidel Castro "For Vietnam, Cuba is willing to give even its own blood", and that Vietnam will always be at Cuba's side.
He also expressed his gratitude to the Cuban Government for sending medical experts to help Vietnam cope with the Covid-19 pandemic.
